Keep USF Fair Coalition Action Center

Major phone companies want to reduce their own tax burdens by shifting the current Universal Service Fund (USF) to a flat-fee. Changing the way the USF is collected to a flat-fee could increase telephone costs by 1000% for millions of people -- like you -- especially Americans with limited, fixed and low incomes.

This "by-the-minute" plan would go a long way in cutting the costs for low-income consumers, should the FCC pass a flat-fee methodology.
